Recently, I was able to assist one of my dear friends, and fellow photographer- Jennifer Jennings. I am so grateful to her, for over the years, she has proven to be an incredible mentor, teacher and friend. I was able to snap a few of these lovely images and couldn't resist sharing them! What an absolute classic beauty!

The Bucking S Wedding
SILKE AND DAN
Some very dear friends of mine, Dan and Silke, were married at their home ranch in Hanna, Wyoming. It is my absolute favorite kind of wedding to photograph, a small country wedding in the middle of God's Country! I love the story that each photograph tells about their amazing day!
The interior of their beautiful log home was decked out to the "nines" with fresh flowers, twinkle lights, food platters, drinks and other decadence!
I just want to say that when you are the Photographer, sometimes it seems like you become also the Wedding Planner, the "People Gatherer", the Time Line Coordinator... but at this wedding, I actually helped make the flower arrangements too! I made this bouquet, believe it or not! Whew, no pressure or anything!
Her jewelry is her mother's saffire's. Are they not stunning?
Always my favorite part of the ceremony- the vows!
It's the quiet moments when they don't know you are taking their photograph that always turn out the best!
Silke with her "kids!" (They wanted to eat the flowers!)
The Handsome Groom, Dan!
Now you can see what I mean about being in the middle of God's Country, we couldn't have asked for better weather! It was a glorious day!
The dog's favorite thing to do was "photo-bomb" all of the pictures, for this one, we actually got a regal pose out of Sadie!
Ummm.... yes. these are my favorites.... need I say more?
And these two win the prize for the most playful images of the day! LOVE!
To many, many years of enduring, faithful and fulfilling love to the two of you, Dan and Silke! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day! One I will treasure!

The "Texican" Wedding
I met Richard one day in a local boutique. His "future wife" was shopping for her wedding dress,
I was dropping off some postcards that the shop carries as part of their stock.
He started talking to me as he was looking at some of my photography and told me they were looking for a photographer for their "Texican" wedding.
I was intrigued and gave him my card. We met a little less than a month later and it began a beautiful friendship. I have never met two more well suited people who are so in love. Photographing their wedding was one of my highest honors... ever.
I co-hired another photographer, Monica Hoeffel-Murphy, to help me document the day, and she shot the majorityof the wedding because I was busy setting up the "Tootins McGrootins Antique Portrait Studio." Michelle and Richard had an antique style wedding and gave each one of their guests a sitting with the "Tootins" old time photo mobile as they all dressed in old style clothing. It was a fun day to say the least!
Michelle and Richard with their lovely boys, Brandon and Garrett.
One of my favorite ever family portraits, so relaxed in such a beautifully rustic setting!
These were part of their engagement photos, and are now hanging proudly in their home!
Now that's my kind of bride- beautiful, blushing, colorful and in love...
I told you they were madly in love...
The wedding was located at the Sisterdale Dance Hall in Sisterdale, Texas, recently re-opened and renovated. It's one of the most beautiful locations in Texas, it's right on the river in the heart of the Hill Country.
My favorite shot from the reception! Michelle said this is how Richard makes her feel every day.

Autumn and Chris
Autumn and Chris were just married at their beautiful Texas Hill Country home last weekend! It was the simplest, yet most well thought out wedding I have photographed in a long time. The bride and groom were present, the officiant and the groom's best friend served as a witness. The atmosphere was easy going and relaxed. It was such a nice wedding, exactly how they wanted it. Isn't that how a wedding should be? I so enjoyed seeing the love that these two wonderful people share. It's obvious to me that they already have a life together, but I wish them the best blessings in their new journey down the road!
Congratulations Autumn and Chris!!!
Here's a little sneak peek of some of my favorites from your wedding!!!!
Something a little funky- just to make you smile!
Love the dogs in this one! They were thrilled to be a part of the ceremony!!!

So happy and relaxed, it was like being at a family event... such a joy to photograph events like this!!!
"Tootsie" the ring bearer!!! She was excellent and attentive the whole time...
"Buster"- the groomsman! Handsome!
The glowing bride, Autumn!!! As beautiful as her name!
If you can't tell from this photo, I did not do my job, but Chris is an absolute HOOT!

| Downtown San Antonio is so much fun! A great place to hold a wedding! The locals are always so happy to see a bride walking down the street, and they show it by honking up a storm! |
